Frenchville Sports Club Awards Over $4,000 In Round 3 Of 2025 Junior Performance Program

Thursday 30th October 2025

Frenchville Sports Club is proud to announce the completion of Round 3 of its 2025 Junior Performance Program, providing just over $4,000 in funding to 14 talented young athletes from across Central Queensland.

This round supported athletes competing at multiple levels, including 11 Capricornia representations, 1 Queensland Country, 1 Queensland, and 1 Australian representative.

Proudly supported by Thomo’s Betta Home Living and Dr Bradley Richmond, the Junior Performance Program was created to help nurture the long-term development of local athletes. In addition to financial assistance for representative sport, the program provides valuable services including strength and conditioning training, nutrition advice, and access to sports psychology support.

Frenchville Sports Club Chairman, Graeme Brady OAM, said it’s rewarding to see the Club’s continued investment in young athletes making such a tangible impact.

“Each round we see more incredible talent coming through, and it’s a privilege for the Club to play a small part in their journeys,” Mr Brady said.

“We know how expensive representative sport can be for families, so this support goes a long way. We’re also very grateful to Thomo’s Betta Home Living for their ongoing support, and to Dr Bradley Richmond for joining us this year to grow the program even further.”

Meegan Armstrong, Business and Sports Development Manager at Frenchville Sports Club, said the initiative continues to open doors for local juniors.

“This program isn’t just about financial assistance, it’s about empowering young athletes to believe in their abilities and represent their community with pride,” Meegan said.

“It’s been inspiring to watch so many kids gain confidence, chase their dreams, and proudly wear the Frenchville name on the bigger stage.”

Congratulations to the Round 3 recipients: Austin Armitage, Oliver Bryan, Milla Coggan, Mia Duncan, Lani Duncan, Maisie Duncan, Flynn Hamilton, Griff Hamilton, Patrick Houston, Tomas Maglietti, Tadhg Molloy, Anthony Nakhle, Paige Poustie, and Jackson Poustie.
