Frenchville Sports Club proudly announces the successful completion of round 2 of its 2024 Junior Performance Program, providing crucial funding to support 12 deserving recipients. Launched in 2022, this program has been instrumental in providing over $40,000 to aspiring junior athletes associated with Frenchville Sports Club since its inception.
Sponsored by Thomo's Betta Home Living, the program embodies the principles of long-term athletic development, which not only provides funding to assist with representative expenses but also encompasses essential aspects such as strength and conditioning training, nutrition guidance, and sports psychology. By offering access to vital services and financial support, the program empowers participants to strive for excellence in their athletic endeavors.
Graeme Brady OAM, Chairman of Frenchville Sports Club, stated, "We are delighted by the overwhelming response to this program. Designed to nurture our young athletes on their path to sporting success, we take pride in equipping them with the resources and support necessary to achieve their goals."
Meegan Armstrong, Frenchville Sports Club's Business & Sports Development Manager, emphasized the importance of the program in overcoming financial barriers faced by young athletes.
"We see the challenges young athletes encounter in accessing coaching and training resources due to financial constraints. That's why we established this program - to ensure that every aspiring athlete has an equal opportunity for success, regardless of their financial circumstances. We extend our sincere appreciation to Thomo's Betta Home Living for their steadfast support of this initiative. It's inspiring to see a local business committed to nurturing the development of our young sports talents."
