Frenchville Sports Club proudly announces the completion of Round 1 of its 2025 Junior Performance Program, awarding funding to 20 deserving young athletes. Since launching in 2022, the program has awarded over $40,000 in support to talented local athletes chasing their sporting dreams.
Proudly sponsored by Thomo's Betta Home Living and, new to the program in 2025, Dr Bradley Richmond, the Junior Performance Program is designed to foster long-term athletic development. The program offers not only financial assistance for representative expenses but also provides valuable services including strength and conditioning training, nutrition guidance, and access to sports psychology support.
Frenchville Sports Club Chairman Graeme Brady OAM said the Club was thrilled with the continued growth and community response to the program.
"We’re proud to back the region’s young athletes on their sporting journeys and to provide the resources and opportunities they need to thrive," Mr Brady said.
"A heartfelt thank you to Thomo's Betta Home Living for their unwavering support since the program began, and a warm welcome to Dr Bradley Richmond for coming on board in 2025. It’s inspiring to see local businesses rallying behind the next generation of sporting talent."
Meegan Armstrong, Business & Sports Development Manager at Frenchville Sports Club, highlighted the importance of the initiative in breaking down barriers faced by young athletes.
"We know how tough it can be for families to cover the growing costs of representative sport. This program exists to help level the playing field and give every aspiring athlete the chance to succeed," Meegan said.
