Frenchville Sports Club’s annual Charity Golf Day has once again proven a huge success, raising over $6,000 for headspace Rockhampton. The event brought together Club partners, sponsors, and community members for a day of connection, generosity, and fun all in support of youth mental health services.

Frenchville Sports Club Chairman Graeme Brady OAM said the strong show of support reflects the Club’s unwavering commitment to giving back.

“Supporting the mental health of young people in our region is a cause close to our hearts,” Mr Brady said.

“We’re proud to back the incredible work of headspace Rockhampton and help ensure these vital services remain accessible to those who need them most.”

The event’s proceeds will directly support headspace Rockhampton’s local programs, helping young people in Central Queensland access mental health and wellbeing services.

Sophia Mackenzie, Centre Manager at headspace Rockhampton, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the organisation.

“On behalf of everyone at headspace Rockhampton, thank you for the incredible support shown at Frenchville Sports Club's recent Charity Golf Day. We’re deeply grateful to all who played, donated, and organised this event,” Ms Mackenzie said.

“Thanks to community support like yours, we were able to provide 2,835 services to young people over the past year. Your generosity helps us continue making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.”

The success of the Charity Golf Day would not have been possible without the generous support of the Club’s partners and sponsors: AGT, Aristocrat, Asahi, Battery World, Bidfood, Coca-Cola, Drummond Golf, Elise Carrick – The Agency CQ, Hospitality Mavens, Keno, Lion, Morrison’s CQ Agencies, Pat O’Driscoll Real Estate, Rockhampton Golf Club, Selco Solutions, Struddys, and Zonca Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.

Now a staple on the Club’s events calendar, the Charity Golf Day highlights the power of community collaboration and the importance of continuing to support local services that matter.
