Frenchville Sports Club is proud to be a Pioneer Founding Partner of the Fitzroy Community Hospice
Frenchville Sports Club is honored to be a Pioneer Founding Partner of the Fitzroy Community Hospice, an important new initiative for those in Central Queensland living with life-limiting illnesses. Every year, thousands of families in the region are faced with the difficult task of caring for someone with a life-limiting illness. The Fitzroy Community Hospice will provide access to comprehensive palliative care in a warm, home-like facility.
Frenchville Sports Club Deputy Chairman, Jeff Krause proudly expressed, “Frenchville Sports Club has been supporting the local community since 1948 and are proud to continue this tradition with the support of the Fitzroy Community Hospice. The hospice will be Central Queensland's first and is a much-needed resource for the local community.”
The hospice will offer specialized palliative care services, at no charge to the community, including social and emotional support, pastoral care, and cultural support.
The opening of this facility will mark an important milestone in Central Queensland healthcare and Frenchville Sports Club is pleased to be part of such an impactful initiative.
