Frenchville Sports Club is proud to officially open Stage 2 of its highly anticipated renovations, welcoming members and guests to experience a host of exciting new spaces designed to elevate the Club’s offering and create a modern, welcoming destination for the entire community.
Following the success of Stage One last year, this next chapter introduces five exciting new spaces - Aroma’s Café, Luxe Lounge, The Atrium, Dusk Lounge and a brand-new Sports Bar boasting the biggest screen in Central Queensland. Each space has been thoughtfully designed to elevate the overall member experience while providing fresh, modern environments for the community to enjoy.
Graeme Brady OAM, Chairman of Frenchville Sports Club, said Stage Two delivers on the Club’s promise to create new and inviting spaces for everyone to gather, relax and connect.
"This next stage of our renovations truly reflects what Frenchville is all about - bringing people together," Mr Brady said.
"From a morning coffee catch-up to an elegant evening cocktail, to watching live sport with mates on CQ’s biggest screen, we’re proud to now offer something for everyone."
The new Aroma’s Café is a light, bright, and welcoming space, perfect for casual catch-ups, and great coffee. Luxe Lounge brings a touch of elegance to the Club - a cocktail lounge that oozes sophistication, ideal for intimate gatherings and special celebrations. The Atrium is a beautiful, glass-enclosed space designed to bring the outdoors in, overlooking the lush greenery of Ryan Park with panoramic views of the Berserker Ranges. It’s the perfect spot for functions, relaxed afternoons, and casual drinks. Dusk Lounge offers a modern, laid-back setting for evening drinks, live entertainment, and good company. The highly anticipated Sports Bar promises to be the new home of live sport in Rockhampton, featuring multiple large screens and the biggest screen in Central Queensland for all the unmissable action.
CEO Damien Massingham said these new areas reflect the Club’s ongoing commitment to reinvesting in the member experience.
"We’ve worked hard to create new spaces that our members and the wider community can be proud of," Mr Massingham said.
"Stage Two introduces some of the best hospitality and entertainment facilities in Queensland - whether it’s great coffee, live music, cocktails with friends, or catching every big game live, Frenchville Sports Club is now the place to be."
“I’d like to thank everyone involved in making this stage happen. Particularly, the board and team at Frenchville Sports Club. Along with our partners, including Ashley Cooper Constructions, BSPN and all our local sub-contractors. A special shout out to our friends at Tabcorp for helping us build Queenland’s, if not Australia’s best sports bar which includes a nine-metre screen”
“Lastly, but certainly not least. Thank you to all our members, for your patience and support through these renovations – we can now enjoy an even better Club together!”
As Stage Two opens, the Club’s Bistro and Function Rooms will temporarily close to make way for Stage Three of the renovations, with exciting new plans already underway for these areas.
Frenchville Sports Club remains open and operational throughout the transition, and members are encouraged to come down, experience the new spaces, and celebrate this exciting milestone together.
