On Tuesday 14 October, an incident occurred at the Club where a person attacked two construction contractors, allegedly with a knife.
Thanks to the swift response of the Queensland Police Service the individual involved, who had left the premises, was quickly apprehended. Construction contractors on site and Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics provided immediate assistance to those affected. We are grateful for the professionalism and care of all who assisted.
I also want to thank and commend the team at Frenchville Sports Club who dealt with the situation calmly and professionally.
